Your reflections

You enter your situation and answers directly. Self-guided reflections are kept on your device, not synchronized to your account. Saving a reflection keeps it on that device until you remove it. Temporary sign-in recovery preserves your progress locally for up to 30 minutes. Device backups may have their own retention settings.

Arty and OpenAI

To respond to you, Arty sends your situation, desired outcome, and the questions and answers in this Arty conversation to OpenAI. OpenAI processes this information to generate Arty’s response. Your private pause notes and other saved reflections are not included. This information is not sent to OpenAI until you allow it.

Your request passes through The Floor’s server to OpenAI’s API. We also send instructions and a response format so Arty can provide structured guidance. We do not add your account email, billing records or consent record to that AI request. Do not include information you do not want processed by OpenAI.

You can withdraw permission here at any time. This stops future sends; it cannot recall information already sent to OpenAI. Continue on your own remains available. Open Account → AI data-sharing permission to review or withdraw it.

We record your permission version, grant or withdrawal time, account identifier and whether you used web or mobile. This record contains no reflection text. It is kept with your account until deleted. OpenAI processing and retention are governed by the applicable API terms and settings; this notice does not promise zero retention.

Guest Arty access

Opening Arty or its purchases in the mobile app creates a guest identifier with Supabase without requiring your name, email or password. It links your permission, purchases and session usage. Authentication credentials are kept in secure device storage. Self-guided use does not create this identifier. Guest settings lets you review AI permission or permanently delete guest data and unused credits.

Guest access is tied to those device credentials. Adding a new Apple or Google sign-in can retain the same identifier. Signing into an existing account or creating a separate email account keeps balances separate; Return to guest sessions reopens the saved guest on that device. Without a linked sign-in, losing device credentials can lose access. Records stay until deleted; we do not automatically expire guest purchase records.

Free Arty trial

The mobile app offers one free Arty session with up to ten follow-up replies. A random installation credential is kept in secure app storage. We retain its hash and trial-use state to prevent ordinary restarts or account changes from resetting the offer. The hash is not used for advertising or tracking across apps. Deleting your account removes its link to the trial record, but the anonymous claim marker remains. Clearing all app storage may remove the credential; this is an installation-based limit, not proof of a unique person. Trial use remains subject to service availability and the same consent and safety controls as paid sessions.

Accounts and purchases

Supabase processes account details and authentication data to sign you in and protect your account. Your chosen sign-in provider handles its own authentication. Payment providers process purchases; The Floor keeps purchase references, session allowances and usage records to provide access and prevent duplicate charges or credits. These are separate from your reflection content.

Deleting your account

In the iPhone app, open Account → Delete account. Confirm your identity and the permanent deletion. This removes your account, permission record, and remaining credits. Floor web subscriptions are cancelled immediately; cancel Apple or Google Play subscriptions separately in the relevant store. Payment providers may retain transaction records under their own obligations. Saved reflections on the phone are removed; copies on other devices must be removed on those devices. Contact us if you cannot access your account.

Service operation and requests

Hosting and monitoring services process technical request and error information to operate the service. Account and payment records may need to be retained for security, disputes and applicable obligations. For privacy questions or account-data deletion requests, contact matthewarthurs@beadecisiveleader.com. Removing local reflections does not automatically delete account, purchase or provider records.
